Dustin Ring – 2200 Hours Certified

Graduate of MH Vicars in 2017 and a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).

The treatments that Dustin performs include therapeutic, deep tissue, Swedish relaxation and trigger point massage, TMJD, cupping, and The Graston Technique.

Dustin is also a 1000 Hr RYT and has been teaching at Metta Yoga Edmonton. He uses functional anatomy to move through various styles of yoga practices that involve: toning and strengthening as well as stretching to create mobility, reduce pain and overall improve quality of life.

Massage to him isn’t just for injuries. From experience he knows that it can be therapeutic in many ways including preventative, healing and providing that ability to perform better whether it’s with sports or daily living.

Steven is a graduate of the 2200 hr massage therapy program from ACMT (Alberta College of Massage Therapy) and a member in good standing with NHPC (Natural Health Practitioners of Canada). He is also a graduate from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.

In his free time you can typically find Steven out and about around the city and perhaps may one day run into him on one of his regular River Valley runs! Outside of the treatment room, Steven lives what he practices and lives a very active lifestyle. He is always trying to explore new and creative ways to get better at various sports he pursues from soccer to swimming to basketball to tennis to hockey to baseball to golf, any sport you can name, he’s probably played it! (the current obsession for the moment has been trying to get his golf swing tuned up).

Steven’s treatment approach focuses on communication and education. He enjoys the variety and flexibility of planning custom, personal treatment techniques for the specific and unique needs for all his clients from a slower paced relaxation massage to deep tissue sports massages for all the fellow athletes out there. His goal through treatment is to make sure you get exactly what you intended when you decided to come in for a treatment and to make sure you are leaving the treatment room better and more rejuvenated than when you came in. Paired along with his background in sports and exercise, you can expect to take home one or two strength or lengthening exercises in order to prolong the long term treatment benefits of the massage.
